How to use
H2k's Magnesium cream works with your muscles to relieve tension and reduce pain. For best results, rub into the muscle nearest the pain.
For example:
- If fingers/thumb/toes, gently sooth into the bottom inside part of the fingers or thumb or toes.
- If feet, rub into the ball, sole or/and heal of the foot.
- If it's your knee that hurts, rub the "back" of the knee.
- If it's your ankle/foot, rub into the bottom of the foot or calf muscle.
- If it's your knee or elbow, rub the cream into the largest muscle nearby e.g. back of the knee, neck or any muscles that ache (not face/eyes).
Ideally use 3 times per time for full effect.

It also contains capsicum for pain relief and pinene as a natural anti-inflammatory, which the spray does not. Many customers use both: the spray before bed and the cream before or after exercise.
Will it leave a chalky or greasy residue?
No. Unlike many magnesium creams, OMG Recovery Cream absorbs cleanly without leaving a chalky white residue or greasy feeling. It leaves the skin moisturised. This was a key part of the formulation, as our founder and the sports therapists who tested it found that chalky residue from other products made follow-up treatment uncomfortable.
When should I apply it?
Before exercise: apply to the muscles you will be using most (calves, quads, hamstrings) 5-10 minutes before your session to help reduce the risk of cramping. After exercise: apply to sore or tight muscles as part of your cool-down routine. For general aches: apply as needed to the affected area. A small amount goes a long way.
Will it irritate sensitive skin?
The cream is formulated to be gentle on the skin. It does not contain the harsh ingredients that cause stinging in many other magnesium products.
